Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa is being sued for $2.3 million for stealing the original concept for his hit 2010 single “Black & Yellow”. The song which went platinum a few times over was reportedly stolen from some scrub who came out with a song entitled “Pink & Yellow”. After listening to both songs its evident that they have literally nothing in common. Clowns like this sue all the time but c’mon, stop wasting our time. Take a peak below to compare the two tracks.

I love these dudes but how do you announce a release date without getting your samples cleared. The mixtape that was scheduled to be released today now does not have a release date. This isn’t the first rodeo for these cats so it doesn’t really make any sense. Check the b-quote below from Spitta to get his take.

We wldnt feel comfortable droppin #LiveInConcert until we get the samples cleared.with how these suits keep poppin up.. Mixtapes ain’t safe. Lots of law suits being handed out to folks for makin free mixtape jams..Wiz,Mac,myself even..We gotta play this one smart..We got it tho. So don’t trip it’ll be out soons the legal beagles handle it…. Crazy how the game gets huh? I never imagined a time like this…. came up off mixtapes in 08 not financially but they put me on so2speak..Sucks that this may be a lane made unavailable to the next mcs.. But when one door closes, another one opens….We will do the due diligence and have it cleared in its entirety …When u hear it you’ll see what we built…. And it will last forever.

They loved making How Fly so much that the duo is back in action to record a second mixtape together. Set for release on August 9th, the mixtape will feature a lot of songs that contain interesting music and most likely reference marijuana. It is a new revelation for the two rappers as they recently decided that they were interested in making a mixtape about drugs.

Wiz releases a free cut via this social media network called Twitter. He also sits down with the good folks at Soul Culture to reveal his favorite verse. Surprisingly enough it’s from his 2007 release Prince of The City 2. That project featured a classic Khalifa joint “Chewy” and had a song that featured Chevy Woods when he was still known as Kev Tha Hustla. Still, his favorite verse came off the relatively unknown song “I Still Remember”. After re-listening to the track it’s safe to say that the Wiz Khalifa of 2007 resembles little in comparison to his 2012 counterpart. In fact, you could even say he gave up a lot of his talent to become famous.

Last week Wiz went in over 2 Chainz’ single “No Lie”. Today, we get the footage. To sum up these two visual minutes in five words:

1.Weed
2.Amsterdam
3.Weed
4.Weed
5.Weed

For real though, this is his best verse in quite some time. Hopefully there is more of this to come on his collaborative effort with Curren$y (Live In Concert) due out next month.
