Music of this distinct genre has been evolving for some time now. Now lead by Flosstradamus, a Chicago based dup, Trap music is finally getting national collaborative recognition as a legitimate genre. If you are enthralled by artists such as 2 Chainz, Waka or crunk hip-hop, this genre is for you. Check out Flosstradamus’ recently released project, Banned.

“Certified Trap” aims to bridge the gap between the Hip Hop and EDM (Electronic Dance Music) worlds by introducing platinum Hip Hop producers such as DJ Spinz and Sonny Digital to the new Trap inspired EDM sound made popular by artists Flosstradamus and Heroes X Villains.

Featuring cameos from Trap-A-Holics, Flosstradamus, Daniel Disaster, Drummer Boy, DJ Scream, Dirty South Joe, FKi, Southside (808 Mafia), Waka Flocka, Mike Will, Dj Spinz, Sonny Digital, DJ Genesis, Dj Sega and Dj Swizzy Mack, “Certified Trap” isn’t simply covering a hot topic, it steps to the forefront of the scene and plays an active role introducing these genres for the first time.

It’s been a long time since anything relevant regarding Young Dro but it has been noted over the last few days that working with DJ Burn One should get him on the right track. He is in fact the producer responsible for bringing Yelawolf and Rittz into the limelight. Hopefully, Burn One’s work will have a similar effect on Dro.

Fresh off his appearance on the Smokers Club Tour, Joey B is gearing up for his second release before his senior year, OF HIGH SCHOOL. He’s far out-matured his age and as he starts to enter his prime, his musical talent should begin to take shape. As for this project, well, see what he said about it…

1999 Rejex is a compilation of tracks that didn’t make it to my debut mixtape 1999 (obviously). I decided to put this project together because I have a lot of unreleased material that I didn’t want to keep from the ears of my fans and supporters. I also have a couple of tracks on here I did when I was 15 years old (“little rachel”, “indubitable”, and “silent knight”) and I want to show people the progress I’ve made in a couple of years. The remaining songs (“flowers pt. I”, “catharsis”, “panty raid”, “fantum” and “update”) are tracks I dropped prior to the release of ’99 as promo only. I look at Rejex as my more experimental side compared to ’99. Putting together these two projects even taught me a lil sumchin about my evolution as an artist and individual. Watch me go from “Joey B4 DA $” to the “Joey BA DA $”…… If you know what eye mean.. Haha
