The good folks that run Machine Gun Kelly’s team “Est. 19xx” hooked us up with this one. This past weekend Machine Gun Kelly sat down with Mick Boogie & Terry Urban of Shade 45′s The Press Play Show. Here is footage of some of the interview in which they discuss topics such as tour life, concerts, the meaning of Lace Up and fans getting tattoos dedicated to him.

February is the best month of the years for so many reasons. So on the last day of the month, I want to bring you ten tracks that fully explain the current state of ‘real hip-hop”. Sorry for all ya’ll classic lovers, but this one’s for the new generation. Check the sidebar on the left for tracks.

To be blunt, this is a pretty awkward collaboration. Dom Kennedy is trying to establish himself as a legit rapper. Most, including All in My Head Music, think he’s there already. For him to collab with Juciy J (someone who really can’t be taken seriously) seems a little bit out of the ordinary and will probably not help his career. With all that said, this song is dope. The beat is bonkers. Props to Dom Kennedy for making this BOLD BOLD move, that I still question a little bit.

Mos and ‘Ye are both pioneers of rap. I know they didn’t start the movement, but hip-hop would not be where it is today without their innovations and contributions. Last Saturday, the two mc’s joined Lupe Fiasco at his show in NYC and spit some bars for the loving crowd.
