Wherever you download your music from, iTunes, youtube, file hosting sites…whatever, get that shit ready. So you don’t have to sift through all of the crap that dropped this year, I present you with the best of the best.  2010 was actually a pretty dope year in hip hop, overall the best we’ve seen in a while. A ton of great songs dropped this year, but these are the cream of the crop. 1. black and yellow 45? song is platinum

  2. list is based on quality alone, sales have nothing to do with it…as they shouldnt

  3. Show me a good time at number 6…on a hip hop list? meh…

and wasn’t Just Begun dropped in 09?

  4. Just Begun leaked in the last few days of 2009, and then was officially released in 2010, so I’d consider it a 2010 song.

Show Me A Good Time is a pretty fuckin’ great hip hop song…One of Kanye’s best beats of the year, Drake kills the verses…plus a catchy hook, equals one dope song.

  5. This list is a joke half of it’s r&b the other half is bullshit like Roscoe dash drake and j.Cole eminem had his worst year and weezy was locked up. Wiz is hot along with Ricky rose and thehotspitta but honestly this list is retarded half of it isn’t even hip hop. Oh and kanye is a sellout having his song at number one is crazy i know his album was decent but cmonnnnnn

  6. Cmon man, nothin wrong with hating on this list, but at least come up with some legit reasons. You clearly don’t know what R&B is…there’s one R&B artist with a song on the list (Novel), who not only raps on the song but has a guest appearance from Joell Ortiz. Roscoe Dash, Drake & J. Cole are all completely different from eachother style wise…Eminem definitely didn’t have his WORST year (2004-2008 were awful for him), and I have no idea what you’re getting at by saying wayne was in jail…Wiz, Ross and Curren$y are all over this list; try not just reading the first and last 10 songs next time, thanks!

  7. Alls I can say is this list shows why hip-hop sucks now.
